Reducer moldings are a type of transition molding used at the junction of two differing heights of flooring. For example, if you are transitioning between your Easiklip hardwood flooring and a lower tile floor, a will smooth the gap visually and physically.
When installing flooring, you will note that shading varies between individual boards, despite them having the same finish. When matching moldings to your flooring during installation, look for a shade of floor board that most closely matches the molding you are working with for the smoothest transition.
Please Note: Our RUSTIC style moldings (Rustic White Bleach and Rustic Smoke Stain) DO NOT have the rough textured saw marked surface finish that our rustic floorings have. Instead they have a smooth finish. This is due to manufacturing limitations when producing wood moldings with rounded edges.
